Why is it bad to re-thaw raw food?

Is it simply because it will affect the quality of the meat/ fish/ poultry in terms of taste? Or will it make the bacteria reproduce faster and thereby spoiling it faster?Why is it bad to re-thaw raw food?
It can make you very sick if you unthaw it again and try to cook it. I saw my room mate get very sick when she did that to her chicken. It may smell all right, that is miss leading, You may get so sick, you just want it to end it,like having the stomach flu.Why is it bad to re-thaw raw food?
When you thaw it the first time it warms up and allows bacteria to reproduce faster. When you thaw it again, it warms up again and creates even more bacteria.Why is it bad to re-thaw raw food?
both. and was it frozen and then thawed like fish before you got it and you do it twice when you have it-its just a bad thing.Why is it bad to re-thaw raw food?
Yes, once it has been thawed the amount of bacteria has increased. Thawing does not kill all bacteria so the food will go bad.
the bacteria will reproduce more, when you freeze food, the bacteria are sleeping but as it thaws they wake up and reproduce mega fast
