I was wondering about raw food diets for dogs?

Do you just feed your dog raw chicken and beef or do you boil it first. Please explain it to me.I was wondering about raw food diets for dogs?
Key word here - RAW. That means no boiling. And You feed whatever you can get your hands on and what you dogs like. From Chicken to Pork to Rabbit to Kangaroo.

BYB's: Only if you are feeding the BARF model of raw feeding. Prey Model/Franken prey - no fruits or veggies. Raw meat, meaty bones, organs eggs on occasion, that's it.I was wondering about raw food diets for dogs?
The whole point of raw food is that it's raw. Boiling it cooks it.



And it's not just chicken or beef. You have to add veggies and other things to make it a balanced diet.

There is a parasite and or bacteria risk with raw meats. Even pre-made raw food diets are potential dangerous with improper handling. It is a personal choice to feed a raw diet. Take all precautions (proper handling, temperature, freshness) that you can if you chose to feed raw meat. Just FYI Never feed your dog raw salmon!I was wondering about raw food diets for dogs?
The raw diet is very complex for dogs because they are more omnivorous than cats and ferrets, they need a wider variety of foods. However, with the meat part of the diet, you need to feed WHOLE prey items in addition to just meat...the dog needs the organs and bones to be healthy, and all food is fed raw...this might sounds gross but wild dogs dont have people to cook their meat for them, its natural!

Raw feeders feed only raw meat and bones. BARF feeds raw meat and bones,vegetables and fruit. I cook for my dogs. The meat is cooked the vegetables and fruit is raw. All different feed adherents have reasons why they think what they feed is the best.
Completely raw. Never cooked- *ever*.



I feed whatever meat I can get my hands on but a lot of it is chicken.
