On a raw food diet can you eat bread?

I heard that eating your veggies and fruits raw should diminish your chance of getting cancer.Sowe have been eating raw veggies and habe been making fruit and veggy smoothies No meat, no dairy products lots of rice and rice products and all kinds of grains nuts and tofu. Almost no fat except for olive oil no sugar, ezcept when it is in prepared foods and juices. It is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it and is easy and quick to prepare. We feel quite energetic. and my headaches are gone - zap! I also lost 4 pounds in three weeks (fast enough for me)

But we love breads of all kinds and eat it, but we wonder if it is appropriate

with the raw food diet.On a raw food diet can you eat bread?
No. Bread is cooked, but you can make a bread from sprouted wheat that is cooked at a lower temperature. Use 1/4 cup sprouted wheat ( an inch in length.) Grind it with nuts and pitted dates with a meat grinder, drain for an hour, form into a flat bun shape and cook it in a warm oven at 300 for 1 1/2 - 2 hours or until it is is crispy on the outside, and moist but not milky on the inside. It has a wonderful taste and it is less cooked, more like dried. It can be cooked in a solar oven. It is sweet even without the dates or soaked raisins.

As far as sugar in prepared foods only, that kind of sugar is especially harmful. Raw honey would be a better bet, except for children under 2.

Rice and rice products are cooked.

You can get cancer from being in a city, it's like smoking a pack a day. You can try to avoid everything, but really, what ever you do, have fun doing it, and do it with wisdom. What you are doing is admirable sticking with something that is harder to do. Don't get burnt out doing it so much that you revert to more processed foods then ever. That's not the purpose of it. Just do the best you can.

Have you made kefir with raw milk and kefir grains yet?On a raw food diet can you eat bread?
Chuck whatever "diet" you are on, diets do not work, losing fat is a hard and long process a result of a lifestyle change, to keep it off you must stick to what is healthy, raw food cannot be maintained for life.

Bread is a refined carb, its ok but not ideal as primary carb source, stick to brown rice, grains and sweet potatoe, non processed as close to nature as possible = best choice.
Bread is not a raw food, so no.

However, eating a wide variety of fruits and vegetables will diminish chances of getting cancer, regardless of what else you are eating. On a raw food diet can you eat bread?
Conventional bread is baked, so therefore, is not raw. There are some bread-like items available that are labeled as raw, but they are not the bread most people are used to.
