Spiritually speaking: Anyone here on a raw food diet, or juice fasting?

I am not a spiritual person, but I was on a raw food for a diet a month or so and I regretfully got off. It was an amazing experience, the way I felt overall was great even my senses seemed heightened. I ask here because I figured some religious people might be into fasting or similar diets. My plan is to go on 30 days juice fast and transition into raw foods.Spiritually speaking: Anyone here on a raw food diet, or juice fasting?
Maybe someone just slipped some ecstasy into your salad?

I've been a frugivore for the last few days. Not on purpose... but there's so much fruit in the house and it all looks so scrumptious!Spiritually speaking: Anyone here on a raw food diet, or juice fasting?
I was on a raw seafood diet for a week or so. I was eating raw oysters, yogurt, lettuce, lemon and drinking lots of water.

I was purifying my system for a religious experience with my Deity, losing a few extra pounds was also a bonus.

I only use sea salt on my food these days.
Don't do it on your own. It's very easy to abandon the regiment if you do. Go through your doctor, have him monitor your weight, then in a month go back and check your weight.

By doing this, you are inviting someone other than you or your family member to keep track of your progress.

Personally, I don't see anything spiritual about this process. It is a good way to cleanse your system of unwanted waste.Spiritually speaking: Anyone here on a raw food diet, or juice fasting?
i've been on paleolithic diet/lifestyle for almost a year now and feel awesome every single day... mimicking the diet we as a species evolved on. only the food that was available before the advent of agriculture when we lived in the wild is the food that is optimal nutrition for humans
I've always wanted to try raw steak, but it's so expensive. As it is, I get my steak as rare as possible.

While I like many foods raw (fruits and veggies), I also enjoy them cooked as well, and don't see the point of not cooking them.Spiritually speaking: Anyone here on a raw food diet, or juice fasting?
Uhh... I tried my cat on a raw meat diet, it's good for them but it's a hassle.

I don't really understand why you'd do that but just be careful about it, okay? Tell the doctor what you're doing and get advice.
