Why do Humans eat cooked food but animals eat raw food?

Why do we humans have to eat hot food, animals dont cook their food they just eat as it is. A lion just eats raw meat as it is but we humans first cook the meat and then eat it.

Dont say that were humans and their animals, because we are all the same living things and were like part of the animals too.Why do Humans eat cooked food but animals eat raw food?
That is a wonderful question to ask!!

I would answer it briefly and in long form.

Briefly:

Because that's what people learn from their parents and society; not because food has to be cooked.

Long answer:

It is really not necessary. Actually, cooking is considered harmful by people who follow a raw food diet. Among these people, there are also medical doctors, health practitioners, nutritionists, as well, and they scientifically and empirically explain and support the reasons.

Why do people cook is most largely because they have been fed with cooked food from when they were a baby and afterwards they learned "this is the way to eat" from their parents and society (other people they got to know / encountered). And there are still some things that are eaten raw, such as fruits, and some vegetables like carrot, and salad ingredients, such as tomato, lettuce, etc.

But the rest is cooked.

How did people start cooking their food?

I don't really know. This is something to research but this is what I guess and what I have heard.

Cooking food breaks down the fibers and makes the food easier to chew. However, this is not necessarily a healthy thing to do. It is just a superficial convenience.

Maybe in the old days, people wanted to cook the food so that they can eat it more quickly.

Or, maybe they wanted to eat something hot in cold weather.

Or, maybe they just wanted to "try something different" and combine fire and food

and see what happens. And when they ate it, it was still edible.

Or, they wanted to kill harmful bacteria and organisms in compromised "food" so that they can eat it.

However, there are undesirable side effects of cooking the food.

First, enzymes are denatured (become unusable) over 105F and above (depending on the food, the limit is different).

However, the body uses and needs enzymes to digest the food.

When there are no enzymes, the body will need to make them (more resource %26amp; effort)

and/or get them from other places in the body (which can create enzyme deficiencies in those parts).

This only will create digestion issues and likely to result in undigested food.

Undigested food is a serious matter. It can cause all sorts of residual and blockage issues.

Undigested food can accumulate in the colon and disrupt nutrient assimilation.

Another issue with cooked food is the so-called "acidosis". Cooked food will result in an acidic environment (after the stomach, in the intestines and colon). This is highly undesirable. One effect is that an acidic environment is ideal for parasites (bacteria, yeasts, worms, microorganisms, etc.). And they can also eat on the accumulated food. But parasites are not welcome as they share the food and also secrete toxins, which disrupt the system contributing to energy drains, and all sorts of other problems.

Another is the formation of the so-called "mucoid plaque" in the intestines/colon. The accumulated food hardens and forms a plaque. If I remember correctly, this is partly due to the acid/alkaline race in the colon as well.

And so on...

Finally, an interesting parallel support for all this is in the Essene Gospel of Peace, Book One.*

There are many statements there that are amazingly in harmony with these findings.

To sum up, cooking the food is a "human" invention and not necessarily a good idea.

People who still cook are operating on "tradition" of this human invention. It is good to explore more. Why do Humans eat cooked food but animals eat raw food?
wow, what bunk. cooking food is incredibly useful to humans. you are almost completely wrong.

Humans can also eat raw food, we choose to eat cooked food for two reasons.

Reason #1 is taste, most humans now prefer to eat cooked meats rather than raw meat (unless the meat is of really high quality)

Reason #2 is because it's cooking food kills all the bacteria and bugs found in the meat. This means it's generally safer to eat the cooked food even if it might be a little older than you usually prefer. Why do Humans eat cooked food but animals eat raw food?
A lot of animals have stronger stomach acids than humans do, so that way the bacteria that can harm humans is killed in the acid in their stomachs. Humans can eat raw meat but when you do you have to make a total switch to it and you would have to take probiotics to help digest the meat and to help you not get sick.
Humans are not natural meat eaters. This is proven by our flat herbivorous teeth. This is also proven by the fact that we cannot safely eat meat unless it has been cooked. Why do Humans eat cooked food but animals eat raw food?
This is part of the culture. It is better to digest when food is cooked. It is much better for the human body.

An ape needs the whole day to digest.
I'm a human and I only eat raw food : ) plant based only.

I know in some countries they eat raw meat right out of the animal because they're used to it.
OUR BODIES ARE NOT IMMUNE TO SUCH RAWNESS..IF WE DID, IT WOULD MAKE US SICK AND HURTS OUR ORGANS AND DIGESTION..ANIMALS ARE MADE TO EAT THAT WAY THATS HOW GOD MADE THEM BUT WE CANT CAUSE IT WOULD MESS UP OUR DIGESTION
It's easier to digest cooked food, and since we're smarter, we've come up with ways to use fire and cook our food.
Easier for our weak human stomachs to digest a wider range of foods, enhancing our ability to survive.
Animals can't cook.
Because cooked food tastes better! Duhhhh!
our stomach and digestive system are different.
When's the last time you saw a wild animal build a fire??
because animals don't and can't cook
They can't light a match with hooves.
well we have fire

animals cant make fire
Bingo..

THat's why a raw food diet is like the BEST most amazing feeling you will ever ever have.

Nobosy on planet earth eats this kind of diet ( apart from those that do, and are usually ridiculed for it)

but believe me- if you do this diet, NOTHING can prepare you for how fresh, lively, calm and unstressed, unbloated and light your body feels, yet still so vibrant and full of java.

It is a wonderfup diet- all foods are at their best when living, or raw.

The moment you cut them to cook and boil or roast- the living enzymes disappear.

I only found out how brilliant and clear, flat and smooth your body feels when I was forced to do this diet ( a location issue where all I could get was raw fresh , good food), and I was shocked how amazing I felt.

I had never know that a normal feeling in your body is NOT to feel bloated or have a swollen intestine from rotting gassy food hanging around inside you.

ALso this is fact, when people moan about a vegetarian diet having not enough protein- NO wild animal eats cooked meat. THe meat eaters of the world, with fangs and s hort intestine ( not like humans), ONLY eat raw animal protein.

Once it is cooked, the protein cannt be leached ( try dissolving a cookd hamburger- it just sits in ground crumbled form and can't break down).

THe raw meat can be broken down by acids in an animals stomach- it literally dissolves the meat to get at the nutrients- wel this doesn't happen once the meat is tough and cooked, even medium rare steak is cooked, and once protein is cooked it goes solid and rubbery, and your body can't get to the inside of the cells to get the protein.

SO a raw food diet IS eaten, and I see nothing weird about it.

In some areas of the world they eat raw food a lot - poverty or habit .

Those culltures are healthy people.
