I was reading the vegancrunk blog and the girl who writes it does a raw food cleanse one day out of every month. i've been thinking about trying that, i've always wanted to experiment with raw "cooking." does anyone else do a raw food cleanse? how long and how often?Does anyone else do a raw food cleanse every month?
My name is Catherine Moon and I'm a gourmet raw vegan chef. I highly suggest that you try to bring some raw food into your diet every day for it's high nutritional content.
As far as doing a raw food cleanse, one day probably won't really do a whole lot. You would be better off trying to do a one day juice fast, preferably once a week, but once a month would be a great start.
Good luck.Does anyone else do a raw food cleanse every month?
i've never heard of a raw food cleanse, but a very good friend of mine has been raw vegan for 6+yrs. she eats fruits, veggies, legumes, etc. and stays away from animal by-products, wheat, and processed foods.
she could probably tell you more info, here is her website.

A raw food diet may be the perfect alternative to your traditional spring into summer cleanse. Cleansing is a great way to give your body a rest by feeding it nourishing enzyme-rich foods that help it operate effectively for optimum health.
Raw foods, in conjunction with specific supplements that support detoxification and a healthy digestive tract, help reduce the effects of toxins that are naturally inhaled, ingested or absorbed during everyday activities. The digestion system effects all parts of the body, including skin, blood, lungs, lymphatic system, kidneys and liver. When this system is healthy, the whole body benefits.
FACT: The average cleanse lasts from one to five days.
